Unfortunately I see more and more people parking in handicapped parking with disabled plates or placards hanging from their mirror that seemingly their only handicap is obesity and too lazy to walk in. I'm 68 with a hip going out and walk with a cane yet I walk as the exercise does me good and yes my physician has asked if I would like a handicapped placard issued to me and my answer is a resounding NO...I may be getting a little gammy and long in the tooth but I'm sure as heck far from being handicapped.
