This could be good for US, if it causes the OPEC monopoly to break up. It also shows how much power that the U.S. government truly has when they can threaten sanctions and an embargo against a country. I would like to see US threaten China, Pakistan, or North Korea (Countries KNOWN to have nuclear weapons) with the same boycott and sanctions. They might be confronted with a different reaction both by these countries and our so called allies.
