Believe me it makes a difference when you have up to the minute gas pricing on your pc instead of driving from one end of town to the other pricing various gas stations. I route myself through areas that have the lowest price for regular gasoline. If I have errands to run I will keep my tank above 1/2, especially in winter. I find that this saves me money because I am always paying the least amount per fill in the area I am traveling to.

This has worked for me over the last year and limits how much time I invest to save some the proce of a Starbucks latte or two a month.
